Mai Honey Lash is based in Burnsville and works with clients from across the Twin Cities. The studio describes its work as redefining beauty through lash extension artistry.

The studio offers five extension styles. Classic is the most natural option, and how full it looks depends on the client's own lash fullness; it is not ideal for short or sparse lashes. Hybrid Volume blends classic and volume for a natural look with some added fullness. Russian Volume applies three or more fans to each natural lash and can be kept natural or made more glamorous; the studio says it suits everyone. Wispy Volume uses lashes of varied lengths for a fluttery, airy finish that can be bold or soft. Mega Volume uses very light 0.03mm fans for a fluffy, soft, full look, and the studio calls it its most glamorous style with the fullest coverage. Which style suits best depends on each client's facial features and eye shape.

A new set starts with a 15-minute consultation. A natural-looking full set may take up to 2 hours, and a dramatic set up to 3 hours. The studio says its extensions are applied without damaging natural lashes. Refills are recommended about every two weeks. A full set is needed after four weeks or once half of the extensions are missing. Extensions shed naturally over about six to eight weeks, or a professional can remove them. Clients should avoid getting lashes wet for 24 hours after a service, and salt water and chlorine can loosen the bond. Mascara is discouraged; if worn, it should be water-based and not waterproof or oil-based.

The studio is appointment only. Hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm. Clients who need a time outside those hours can text the studio to arrange one, and same-day bookings require a text to confirm availability first. A deposit is required for appointments, applied to the service, except when booking with a gift card or voucher. Rescheduling at least 48 hours ahead moves the deposit to the next appointment, while later changes incur the full amount. Clients running up to 15 minutes late should contact the studio; more than 15 minutes late without contact counts as a no-show and the full amount is charged. Accepted payments are Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, credit or debit card, and cash.
