Maggie Cuts is the independent haircut business of Maggie, a stylist who works at Cute Hair & Vintage on W Belmont Ave in Chicago. Haircuts make up the core of what is offered, with a menu that runs from a short bang trim to a full transformation.

Maggie builds each cut around what the client asks for. She listens closely to the goal and works toward it within her own skill set, and she takes requests for mixed cuts, asymmetrical shapes and unusual ideas. Her range includes short trims as well as bigger changes, so both a light refresh and a major new look are handled here.

Visits are scheduled by appointment with a set time for each cut, and every cut except Express Maintenance includes a wash and dry. Returning clients book online. New clients are asked to read the haircut descriptions before choosing a service, and questions are handled by Instagram DM. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late to a haircut need to reschedule, and the limit for Express Maintenance is 5 minutes.

Each cut is shaped around what the client wants, with custom work for short trims and bigger changes alike.

Haircuts from a 15-minute maintenance visit up to a 1 hour 45 minute transformation, including pixie and bowl cuts, fades, classic one-length cuts, razor cuts and style changes. Graphics can be added to any haircut for no extra charge, and each cut is priced separately.
