Madi Nailed It is run by Madison Casanova, who owns the business and does the nail work herself. She began working with nails in 2020, during the lockdown, and the business operates from a private room in a suite building in Oceanside. Her aim is a calm, welcoming space where clients can relax and leave feeling confident in their nails.

Her specialties are Gel-X extensions, builder gel manicures and custom press-on nails. Nail art is organized into four tiers, Signature, Deluxe, Luxury and Freestyle, with increasing time and detail as the tier rises. Lower tiers cover single colors, chrome, cateye, ombre and gel designs, while the higher tiers move into French tips, 3D elements, airbrushing, character and flower designs, and intricate hand-painted work. Each tier lets clients choose a soft or hard gel overlay or Gel-X extensions with full cover tips.

Clients who want to change their set can have gel removed, but soak off is only done on product the business applied itself, and acrylic is not soaked off. Previous acrylic sets need to be professionally removed before the visit, and new clients should arrive with bare natural nails.

Booking is done online through a GlossGenius page, with a $25 non-refundable deposit that goes toward the total. Cancellations made 24 or more hours ahead move the deposit to a future appointment for one month, while later cancellations and no-shows carry a 50% fee. Arriving 10 minutes late brings a $10 late fee, and arriving 15 or more minutes late cancels the appointment. Buy Now, Pay Later financing is available for in-person bookings from $50 to $4,000, with approval needed before the appointment.

Nails that break or lift within 7 days are repaired for free, and later repairs carry standard fees. Clients are asked to raise any concerns during the appointment so they can be corrected before leaving, since refunds are not given. Clients may bring one guest if the business is told in advance, and children under 6 are not permitted. Well-trained pets are welcome if they stay calm and do not disturb others. Gift cards are sold in set amounts or a custom amount and are final once purchased.
