The salon is open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm and closed Sunday and Monday. Certain appointments, including Alicia Keys braids, invisible locs, faux locs and some box braid and twist styles, require a $50 deposit to secure. For many braid styles the hair color is chosen at booking, and a three-color blend adds $20. Midback length adds $30 and lower back length adds $50 on certain kids' braid styles. For microlocs twist, rescheduling needs at least three days' notice, is allowed once, and must fall within two weeks of the original date; the deposit is forfeited on any cancellation.

Beyond the chair, the brand runs a two-day African braiding masterclass with lunch and a kit included. Gift cards are sold, and their balance can be checked on the website.

Stylists here focus on teaching clients how to care for their own hair texture, so they can work with it day to day.
