New color clients are asked to book a free 15-minute color consultation before a color, highlight, or balayage appointment. Color retouches include one to three ounces, with extra color charged per ounce, and a short 10-minute retouch is available for full gray coverage.
Extension services include I tip extensions, tape-in extensions, and the Better Than A Weft system, which is beaded rather than sewn. Extension clients can book a consultation to talk through extension type, color match, and pricing. Tape-in and Better Than A Weft installs include a haircut to blend the new hair and a style, and maintenance move ups are needed every several weeks. The studio's portfolio page has before and after examples of several extension and highlight combinations.
Highlight options range from mini highlights and mini balayage with 8 to 10 foils to full balayage that covers the full head. Hair services also include clipper cuts, kids cuts, beard and fringe trims, and blowouts for short or long hair. Brow tinting, brow and lip waxing, and a Malibu Swimmers treatment for chlorine, mineral, and salt buildup round out the menu.
Hours are Tuesday through Thursday from 2 PM to 8:30 PM, Friday from noon to 6 PM, and Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM; the studio is closed Sundays and Mondays. Clients who are more than 15 minutes late without contacting the studio may be turned away. Buy Now, Pay Later is offered for bookings from $50 to $4,000 with approval before the appointment. Gift cards come in set amounts or a custom amount, can be sent right away or scheduled, and are final once sold.
Color and extension work begins with a consultation, and a test strand is required before platinum or color correction service.
