Mabelle Lashes is a private lash and brow studio on Yellowstone Boulevard in Forest Hills. Appointments are by booking only, with limited availability so each client has the lash artist's full attention. The studio calls itself a luxury lash studio and says clients travel in from across Manhattan for its extensions and lifts.

About

Every visit starts with a consultation about the client's natural lashes, eye shape and the look they want. Each set is built to order, with curl, diameter, length and lash mapping chosen for that client. Extensions are applied one by one about 1mm from the lid rather than onto the skin, and a saline bath follows each treatment. The studio charges per set rather than per lash and says it measures results by quality. Extension visits run roughly 45 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, with touch-ups suggested every 2 to 3 weeks and removal done in the studio.

Lash lifts and brow services follow a set process. The keratin lash lift uses Cite products, Japanese-made lift agents and a cysteamine-based formula, and can be paired with an optional tint. The Korean lash lift lifts from the base of the natural lashes using silicone shields and no glue, taking roughly 60 to 90 minutes. The studio says results last about 6 to 8 weeks. Brow lamination sets brow hairs for several weeks, and brow tinting is semi-permanent and matched to skin and hair color. Brow shaping is done with hard wax and tweezing, and the studio says it does not over-pluck.

Booking policies: a $25 deposit secures an appointment and can be paid by Square, Venmo or Zelle. Changes need at least 24 hours' notice, and a late cancellation forfeits $25 of the deposit. No-shows and late arrivals are charged the full service price. A reminder is sent 24 hours ahead by text or email. Lash extensions applied elsewhere are not refilled; those clients start with full removal and a new set. Removal is a separate service with its own fee. Sales are final, but a complimentary redo is offered if a client is not satisfied.
