Acrylic enhancements can be applied as an overlay over the natural nail or over tips to add length. Acrylic is made by combining a liquid monomer with a powder polymer. Structured manicures use a rubber base gel, builder gel or hard gel over the nail to strengthen it, and tips can be added to a structured manicure when it is booked as a gel full set. The salon recommends fills every three to four weeks to keep acrylic and structured sets in good shape.
Clients are matched with a technician the salon says will focus on their comfort and individual needs. Manicure stations have air purification with activated carbon filtration, cup holders and an ottoman for belongings, and there is a complimentary coffee bar with hot or iced coffee, soda and water. The pedicure follows a four-step luxury routine, and clients choose a custom scent. Pedicure products are individually wrapped and single-use.
Design work runs in five tiers, from a one-color chrome or cat-eye at the lowest tier to complex, multi-color designs at the top. The salon offers chrome, cat-eye gels, airbrush, charms, foils, 3D gels and custom color mixing. Very complex work, such as intricate hand-painted art or sculpted 3D elements, should be discussed with the salon before booking.
The salon works only up to medium nail length and no longer offers long nails. It does not work over nails from other salons, so a soak-off or removal is needed first. A card on file is required to book, and the salon asks clients to check its nail length diagram when choosing a length to book under. Tools are cleaned and disinfected after every use, and single-use files and buffers are discarded after each client.
The salon says it matches each client with a technician who prioritizes their comfort and individual needs, with the aim of a positive experience from the moment clients arrive.
