Lyon's Mane begins every extension appointment with a refresh consultation to go over the plan. Consultations can be held in person or virtually and are booked through the studio's booking link. Clients who want a price before booking can request a personalized quote by text at (720) 659-2529. Once an install is secured, a 50% deposit is taken and the balance is due on install day.

The studio offers two extension methods. Hand-tied hidden bead extensions are placed with silicone-lined beads along the scalp to secure the wefts, leave no visible beads, and allow hair to be worn up. They need maintenance every 6 to 9 weeks, and the hair can be reused for around 10 months. K-tip extensions are applied with small keratin-infused bonds and gentle heat. The studio describes these bonds as lightweight and virtually undetectable, and they need no in-salon maintenance. The studio says both methods suit most hair types and can be worn up in a high ponytail.

Extension hair is matched to each client's texture and curl pattern and is sourced from several ethically sourced suppliers. Both methods call for daily brushing, and clients are asked to sleep with hair in a bonnet or braids on a silk pillowcase.

Clients can park anywhere around the studio, which is marked by a pink door. Beverages and snacks are offered during appointments.

The studio puts scalp health and seamless blending first, with extensions custom-matched to each client.
