Electrolysis is the core of the studio. Alongside standard electrolysis, it offers the Blend Method, which pairs thermolysis with galvanic current. For minor cases involving light or soft hair, thermolysis is used on its own. The studio also removes ingrown hairs and provides pre and post electrolysis skin care regimens. Facial areas treated include the eyebrows, nose, chin, cheeks and upper and lower lip. Body areas include the fingers, toes, legs, arms, underarms, bikini area, back, shoulders, neckline, navel and breasts. For men, treatment covers the area under the neck, the top of the nose, the ears, shoulders and back. Treatment generally does not cover areas below the waist.
A first visit usually begins with a complimentary consultation and a test patch. Appointments are by appointment only, start on time and carry a 24-hour cancellation policy. New clients reach out by voicemail or email, and response times vary; existing clients can text Lynne directly. Treatment is in a private room where clients can rest under a weighted blanket with pillows, choose the music and read. Clients are not pressured to buy products.
The Works is a facial that combines 20 minutes of microcurrent, 10 minutes of red light therapy with a hand massage, 10 minutes of yellow light therapy and 20 minutes of radio frequency with red laser. It also includes 10 minutes of a local organic serum applied with facial and scalp massage instruction. Depending on the visit, 10 minutes of infrared on the feet or red laser on scars may be added at no extra charge. The Works Face is listed at $250 and the Face/Neck at $300, both under special pricing.
Clients typically average about six months for a major reduction in hair and about a year for full clearing, depending on the area, the amount of hair and how closely the schedule is kept. The studio says it maintains strict hygiene standards and uses sterile disposable probes and needles, along with what it describes as state of the art equipment.
Each new client is evaluated individually, and treatment is timed to hair in its active growth cycle. The studio considers each client's skin care and health needs, works in a streamlined way and aims to avoid over-treating the skin, combining current technology with a traditional approach.
