Color is a large part of the menu. Lived In Color lightening comes in mini, partial and full options, each finished with a gloss and a style. The partial option adds dimension through about half the hair and the full option through more than half. Additional Color Services include an all-over color from roots to ends, a base color for one to one and a half inches of regrowth and grey coverage, and a gloss that refreshes lived-in color to cut brassiness or fading without lightening. Add-ons include a grey coverage add-on for any lightening service, a haircut with any color service, a scalp spa with gentle exfoliation and a nourishing masque, and treatments.
Bridal work is done on site. Bride hair and makeup, bridal trials, and wedding party hair and makeup are all offered, with higher rates on Sundays, holidays and holiday weekends. Bride services are scheduled for one hour each and wedding party services for 45 minutes each, with buffer time at the end for touch-ups. Makeup includes false lashes, and makeup clients are asked to arrive with a cleansed and moisturized face while everyone arrives with clean, dry hair. A bridal trial is recommended but not required, and it is paid separately on the day of the trial.
Booking a wedding involves a $300 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract, both due within a week of the contract being sent. Service totals can be adjusted until 60 days before the wedding, timelines are finalized two months before, and final payment is due one month before. Most brides book six months to a year ahead. Hotel accommodations must be arranged for travel more than two hours one way. The website also offers wedding day prep tips covering haircuts, skin care, spray tans, sun exposure and trials, and displays client testimonials praising the bridal hair and makeup.
Color and bridal plans are built around each client's current hair and wedding timeline, with the owner doing the cutting and coloring herself.
