LXE Salons is built around hair extensions, with a team led by founder April, a master stylist with more than 30 years in the beauty industry. The salon also offers hair loss solutions and toppers for clients dealing with thinning hair or loss of density, and it says it stays current on newer extension techniques, including strand-by-strand methods, toppers and mesh integration.

Every service starts with a conversation about the client's natural hair, daily routine, concerns and the result they want, and the salon tailors each install to hair type, density, lifestyle and goals. Consultations are recommended before any installation and required before toppers. A consultation reserves a time for a non-refundable $50 retainer, which is credited toward the total if the client books the service. Extension appointments take a non-refundable 50 percent retainer when scheduled, with the balance due at completion. Shampoo is included with every install.

Hair extensions are the core of the menu. K-Tips are placed strand by strand with keratin bonds fused by heat, and typically last about 3 to 5 months with proper care. I-Tips are installed with silicone-lined beads without heat or glue, and the beads are moved up every 6 to 10 weeks as natural hair grows. Hidden Beaded Wefts are sewn onto a row of beads so the beads stay concealed, with maintenance every 6 to 8 weeks. Sew-in extensions, Micro K-Tips, Corrective Hair Extension Solutions and a Relaxing Shampoo Service, which includes scalp massage, a clarifying cleanse and a blow dry, are also available.

Toppers are sized to the thinning area and the coverage needed rather than by weight. They can be worn alone or paired with K-Tips, I-Tips or Hidden Beaded Wefts. Topper installations are semi-permanent and need regular maintenance. Crown coverage solutions are offered as well.

The salon is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm, Thursday and Saturday closed, and Sunday from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. A valid credit card holds an appointment time, and cancellations or reschedules need 24 hours' notice. Clients get text or email confirmations 72 hours ahead and are asked to confirm, and they are encouraged to arrive at least 10 minutes early. Children cannot attend services with clients for safety reasons. Buy Now, Pay Later financing through Affirm is available, and clients who only want a discount can buy products and hair extensions in the online shop without booking. Discounted extension pricing is offered only through the salon's own website, and pricing and discounts may change with stock.
