Luz Spa Studio

Luz Spa Studio was opened by its owner in California with the aim of creating a peaceful place where women can relax. The studio is in Room 29 inside Sola Salon at 16450 Pacific Coast Hwy, Suite 200, Huntington Beach.

Treatments center on skin, scalp and relaxation. The 45-minute Facial Treatment begins with a skin analysis, then moves through deep cleansing, gentle exfoliation, ozone steam, a customized mask and targeted serums, with relaxation elements along the way and complimentary snacks and drinks. The 45-minute Head Spa covers scalp analysis, scalp exfoliation, detox foam, a scalp cleanser and mask, an eye steam mask and a blow-dry, with electric foot massagers included.

The 75-minute Lua Head Spa blends Korean-inspired techniques with facial care, adding facial massage, a collagen mask, detox foam, an oxygen steamer and an eye steam mask. Clients with very long or thick hair, mid-back length or longer, can add a $25 add-on that adds 15 minutes so the full head spa and facial experience is kept. Without the add-on, the facial massage portion is skipped to keep the original service time.

Shared options suit friends and family. Head Spa for Two is an hour at $240 and includes scalp analysis, facial massage, a collagen facial mask and foot massagers for both guests. Lua Head Spa for Two runs 75 minutes at $320 with an eye steam mask for each guest. The 45-minute Twinkle Star Head Spa at $60 is designed for children 12 and under, and the one-hour Mommy & Me Head Spa at $180 is a shared service for moms and children 12 and under. A parent or guardian must stay in the room for the entire Twinkle Star Head Spa and at all times during the Mommy & Me Head Spa.

Lua Head Spa and Twinkle Star Head Spa can be booked online, while Head Spa for Two, Lua Head Spa for Two and Mommy & Me Head Spa require a booking request. Clients can cancel up to 24 hours before an appointment and reschedule up to 12 hours in advance. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows carry a $50 fee. Gift cards are available for purchase.

The Luz Essential Membership costs $60 per month and includes one 45-minute facial or head spa each month. Unused sessions can roll over, up to 2 in total. Members receive 20% off regular services and products and 20% off double appointments. There is no setup fee and it can be cancelled at any time. Joining the Luz Club loyalty program is free, and members earn Glow Points on visits, with 5 Glow Points equal to $1 off a visit.
