Luxurious Hair is a Tucson salon built around human hair extensions. Installation appointments can be booked once the hair has been purchased in full.

The extensions are 100% human hair, hand-sorted by length and color, and come in 47 natural shades. They arrive with a body wave and can be curled, flat-ironed, or colored. The salon describes its extension hair as the best quality available. Two grades are offered: 5 Star hair, which is single-use and replaced with new hair when it wears out, and 7 Star virgin hair, which can be sent for rebonding up to three times. Reusable hair is mailed to a company in California and then to Austria for rebonding, a process that can take up to eight weeks.

Extensions can be worn for up to six months with regular tidy-up cuts, which are recommended every eight to ten weeks and should not be spaced further apart than ten weeks. Bonds are placed about one to two inches from the natural hairline and roughly half an inch from the scalp. The salon is not responsible for damage to natural hair caused by missed tidy-up cuts.

Color can be applied to roots only where it does not overlap the bonds. Demi-permanent glaze and foil highlights kept away from the bonds are allowed, and color must be done professionally. Salon-professional shampoo and conditioner are sold at the salon and recommended for extension care, with a sulfate-free, sodium chloride-free shampoo advised. Heavy oils and silicone products are not recommended. Extensions can be shipped by UPS Standard Ground (about five business days), Priority (about three business days), or 2nd Day Air.
