Luxe Esthetics Day Spa is a day spa on Brown Road in Hazelwood, Missouri. Its menu runs from facials and waxing to noninvasive body contouring, postoperative care and wellness treatments, and everything is booked by appointment.

Postoperative care is a major part of the menu. Clients can book a consultation ahead of a procedure to talk through what to expect, and the salon says these are led by a licensed, experienced therapist. Post-op clients can complete consent forms online before the visit. Options include a single post-op session for $100, a post-op massage for $100, and a five-session package of post-op care with cavitation for $450.

For body work, cavitation is a noninvasive treatment that aims to break apart fat deposits in targeted areas, and the salon recommends more than one session for the best effect; pricing varies and sessions take an hour or more. Laser lipo is another noninvasive contouring option, priced at $85 and taking about an hour. A stomach strip takes 30 minutes and costs $10. The detox sauna blanket is a private session in which the client is fully submerged in a sauna blanket for an hour; the salon says it is good for removing toxins, anti-aging and combatting fatigue. A waist trainer consultation is a 15-minute visit to buy a waist trainer, with the waist measured before purchase, for $65.

Customized facials are recommended for first-time clients and begin with a full skin analysis. Standard facials suit all skin types and take an hour or more. Body waxing covers the full area requested and is said to help prevent ingrown hair; shaving four to six weeks beforehand may increase irritation, and a hydrating mask can be added. Facial waxing removes hair by waxing and tweezing, with smoothness lasting up to four weeks depending on hair growth.

Cancellations are free until 24 hours before the treatment time. Cancelling later carries a $25 fee, or the current deposit is waived instead. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is due at booking and is credited toward the total. Late arrivals end on time and are charged the full service price, and appointments can be cancelled after 15 minutes of tardiness. Guests who are not receiving treatment are not accommodated, except a partner providing transportation. Clients should report any dissatisfaction within five days of the appointment or purchase. Hours are Monday 11:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday 11:30 am to 3:00 pm and Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Visits are by appointment only, with consultations before procedures so clients know what to expect.
