The salon says it aims to tailor its hair, skin and body care to each guest. Every service begins with a consultation covering the look or result wanted, the steps involved, timing, budget and upkeep. Guests are asked to share concerns, allergies and medical conditions beforehand, and stylists talk through the process and products before any service. Some hair work takes several visits, and pricing and timing for color changes and corrections are given as accurately as possible.
The facial menu includes three customized facials, each built around its own set of key ingredients, along with a Tulasāra series of four treatments that the salon recommends. For customized facials, products are chosen for the guest, and the therapist selects the treatment for the skin concern, paying attention to touch, breath and aroma. The salon describes its Perfecting Plant Peel as suitable for acne-prone skin, and it uses a 30% glycolic peel.
Visits include complimentary Aveda rituals, such as hand, neck and shoulder massages, makeup touch-ups and herbal tea. Only the guest receiving service may be on the styling floor, and other guests wait in the reception area, as the salon's insurance provider requires. Children are not allowed in the salon or spa areas and must always be accompanied by an adult.
Spa members receive member pricing when they pre-book three services, and that offer cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions. Massage treatments are recommended weekly, monthly or quarterly, with a personalized plan. Pricing varies with the experience level of the stylist or spa therapist. A 24-hour notice is requested for cancellations, and later cancellations carry a $50 service charge. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, personal checks and cash are accepted.
