An initial microblading appointment takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, and follow-up sessions take about an hour. Topical 5% lidocaine is used for comfort during semi-permanent procedures, and a provided aftercare ointment is used for the first seven days after microblading.
Microblading implants pigment beneath the skin to mimic natural brow hair. Powder brows create a softer, powdered look and typically last two to three years. Brow lamination is a chemical service that sets brow hairs flat and can include a tint and shaping; it lasts six to eight weeks and fades gradually, and brows must stay dry for 24 hours afterward.
Some preparation is needed before a session. Waxing or shaping should be done at least two days before microblading, lamination at least three weeks before, and tinting at least three days before if the tint should match the microblading. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due at booking and is credited toward the service. Changes need 72 hours' notice, and clients more than 20 minutes late are rescheduled. Children under 18 are not allowed in the room during procedures.
The studio is open about results: pigment holds differently on each skin type, so final microblading results cannot be guaranteed.
