Luster Nail Studio

Krystal Flack created Luster Nail Studio and works there as its owner and nail technician. She has worked as a nail technician for 10 years, and the studio's work centers on natural nails, with dry manicure techniques and Japanese and Korean gel products as her specialties.

The studio's services fall into three groups: gel, nail art and repair. Gel options range from a quick full cateye or magnetic gel application and a full chrome finish to a structured gel manicure built with Japanese gel bases for strength on natural nails, and a Japanese gel manicure that includes shaping, cuticle care and a choice of gel color. Outside gel removal takes off soak-off gel applied by another salon in about 30 minutes; acrylic, Gel-X, dip and other enhancements must be fully removed before the appointment. Nail art is priced in three tiers, from simple dots, lines and color blocking up to detailed hand-painted florals and marble. Character art, portraits and maximalist designs are not offered, and inspiration photos for nail art should be sent in advance for approval. Nail repair uses a specialized fiber gel for cracks, minor chips and missing corners on natural nails.

The studio describes its space as cozy and elevated, meant for relaxing. Booking is handled through the studio's online booking page, which accepts payment. The studio is open Tuesday and Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday from 12 PM to 9 PM, and Thursday from 12 PM to 8 PM, and is closed Monday, Saturday and Sunday.

Cancellations and rescheduling requests need at least 24 hours' notice. Requests made with less notice are subject to a fee of 50% of the scheduled service total, and no-shows are charged 100% of the service total. The owner may make exceptions for illness, family emergencies, severe weather or other circumstances outside the client's control.
