The salon aims to improve the usual salon experience through cleanliness, quality products, professionalism and personal connections. Gel services are the core of the business, with an emphasis on keeping natural nails in good condition.

Every visit is customized to the guest's lifestyle and needs. Before booking, guests can take a free phone consultation to shape a custom treatment plan. Before a guest leaves, the nail artist prepares a plan for maintenance and product use at home. The room is relaxed and casual: guests can choose a beverage, music or TV, or ask for a silent service. Appointments are for one guest at a time, and children and extra guests are not allowed. Cell phone use is limited at the nail table.

Hygiene is a central part of the business. Tools are washed and disinfected for at least ten minutes, as the NC Cosmetic Board requires, and then stored in a disinfected container. Single-use disposable items and hospital-grade sanitation products are used, and tools brought in from outside are not. The salon says it goes beyond state board standards for cleanliness. The disinfectant used is Prevention, an EPA-registered hospital-grade product.

Gel services are offered without dip or acrylic. The salon does not remove acrylic, dip or gel applied elsewhere, and does not apply gel over another salon's gel, dip or acrylic. Gel products are not applied to anyone under 16. Nail art consultations can be handled by text, and guests are asked to send inspiration photos before the appointment, since not every style can be duplicated. Some nail art designs can take up to three hours.

Each guest's services are customized to their lifestyle and needs, and a home care and maintenance plan is set before they leave.
