Lure Co+Op

Lure Co+Op is a hybrid shared salon at 4161 McKinney Avenue in Uptown, close to the Katy Trail. Independent hair professionals lease space here and run their own client books. It is the sister location of Lure Salon in West Village, and both are owned by Yvonne Hager.

SWOON, the design firm also behind Virgin Hotel Dallas, created the salon's interior. According to the salon, The NYC Journal included Yvonne Hager among its 30 leading figures shaking up the beauty trade in 2021.

Visits are by appointment only. The salon is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 8pm and closed on Sundays. Clients text the salon to book with the member they want. Members receive a towel and smock service, beverage service for clients, and back bar product for use in the salon.

Membership requires being active and in good standing. Some member benefits depend on booking at least one appointment a month. Members get a discount on colour and on products, and they have access to education classes. Products are also sold through an online shop, though member product sales are excluded from the 10% sales incentive.
