Love Thy Waxer is a waxing studio on South 8th Street in Austin offering brow, lash and waxing services. The menu is organized into those three groups, and waxing makes up the largest share.

Waxing covers the face, lip and nose, underarms, arms, legs, stomach, back, and several intimate and body areas. Single-area visits run from about 15 minutes for a lip or nose wax to about an hour and a half for a full leg wax. Underarm, inner thigh and Brazilian waxes can each be booked as a set of four at a lower per-visit price, and combinations such as face with brow or Brazilian with brow are priced together.

Clients who use retinoids or other skincare that could be irritated by waxing can ask about brow tweezing as a shaping option. New clients complete a form before a first visit that asks about age and certain medications and skincare, including antihistamines, blood thinners, and retinoids such as retinol, Retin-A, Differin and adapalene.

The studio is open Monday and Tuesday from 10 am to 8 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm. It is closed on Wednesday and Thursday.
