The salon has eliminated tipping and shows prices in full, a choice it says supports a more equitable workplace and a transparent, fixed pricing structure. It aims to be a place where clients feel accepted and not judged.

Every haircut and styling service, including wet cut, dry cut, clipper cut, bang trim, wet set and blow out, begins with a consultation. The complimentary consultation lasts about 15 minutes, and booking one does not guarantee same-day service. Haircuts range from a bang trim for $20 and a children's cut for ages 12 and younger at $55 to a long haircut and style for $90 on styles 6 inches or longer. Clipper cuts and short-hair cuts are $65.

Color services use PRAVANA Chromosilk color. Partial and full highlights, foil, balayage and ombre are priced from $170 and $260, with a haircut added on for a combined price. Creative color services, including Oilslick, Mermaid, Unicorn and Punk-Rock, are usually a double or triple process. Fashion colors require the hair to be bleached or lightened first and need ongoing product use and upkeep.

The Perfection Smooth-Out Retexturizing treatment costs $325 and takes about 2 hours 30 minutes. It lasts 8 to 12 weeks. The salon says it can reduce daily styling time by up to 70 percent for most clients, and it guarantees results only when Pravana Nevo Haircare is used. A Conditioning Treatment at $95 includes an aromatherapy scalp massage, shampoo, treatment and style, and a conditioning add-on of $45 adds 30 minutes to any service. Waxing uses hard wax for facial hair and brow shaping, and a brow wax is $30. Makeup services include drag and special effects makeup, parties, prom, day-to-night looks and lipstick shade matching, along with classes, and all use cruelty-free cosmetics.
