Louisville Electrolysis

Louisville Electrolysis has offered permanent hair removal through electrolysis since 2002, according to the studio. Electrolysis works by destroying the hair growth center, either with a chemical (sodium hydroxide) or with heat energy, and the studio offers both Blend and Thermolysis.

Sessions are by appointment only, and the studio offers free consultations by phone or in person before booking. Treatments use natural beauty products infused with essential oils, and at-home care instructions are explained in detail during each visit.

Session pricing is set by length: a 5-minute clean-up is $20, a 10-minute session is $38, a 25-minute session is $54 and a 40-minute session is $74. The bikini area is charged at a flat $55 per 15 minutes.
