LOMA Facial Spa

LOMA Facial Spa is a small facial studio in Ballantyne, Charlotte, located in Suite 202 at 11930 Providence Road West. The studio is founded and run by Ava, a licensed esthetician who focuses on deep relaxation, sculpting facial massage and advanced aesthetics.

The menu has two groups. Advanced Aesthetics covers LED light therapy, which uses red light the studio associates with collagen support and blue light aimed at acne-causing bacteria, along with advanced dermaplaning, which removes dead skin cells and fine vellus hair with a sterile blade. It also includes microcurrent sculpting, which uses low-level electrical currents to tone facial muscles, and microneedling paired with exosome-based products. Sculpting & Relaxation covers gua sha facial massage using an agate stone tool with a focus on lymphatic drainage, a buccal massage that is done inside the mouth and aimed at jaw tension, and custom facials that include scalp massage and release of jaw and neck tension.

The Aesthetic Retreat is the studio's custom facial, lasting an hour or more. The Birthday Retreat builds on it with celebratory extras and an enhanced treatment protocol. Clients can also join the Aesthetic Retreat Membership, a monthly subscription at $80 that can be cancelled at any time and includes one complimentary birthday treatment.

The studio welcomes busy professionals and local moms in South Charlotte who want a restful appointment. Gift cards are sold online in amounts of $100, $200, $300 or $500, or in a custom amount, as individual or group gifts, and clients can check a gift card balance on the website.
