Lollicut Children's Hair Salon

Lollicut is a children's hair salon in Tarzana. It is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Saturday from 9:30 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Appointments can be booked by calling (818) 342-6171.

The salon is set up to keep young clients at ease. Children choose their own haircut station when it is time for the cut, and the toy haircutting chairs come in car, motorcycle, puppy and carousel pony designs. Toys and balloons are available, and a home movie theater shows children's films on a large screen TV.

Visits also include free games and cookies. The walls are decorated with hand-painted cartoon character murals, and Nintendo 64 games are available for children. A first haircut comes with a free certificate and picture, which suits families marking a baby's first cut.

Parents can get their own haircut in an adult chair alongside the children's services, so the family can share one visit. The salon does not provide any chemical hair services. According to the salon, Los Angeles Magazine selected it as the Best Kid's Haircut in its 2005 Best of LA edition, Santa Clarita Valley Living readers voted it the best children's haircut place in 2004 and 2005, and it was a winner in MyFox LA's 2007 Hotlist. The salon also describes itself as a go-to salon for the entire family.
