Locs are the main focus. Starter, micro starter, instant, wick and soft locs are offered, along with maintenance options such as crochet, interlocking, micro and palm roll retwists. Shampoo is included with retwist services, and the salon recommends a retwist every four to eight weeks to keep locs groomed and new growth from separating. Goddess, bohemian and bonet locs are also available, as are comb-outs and removals.

Loc extensions are installed with a mix of wrapping and crochet methods, and each installation is customized to the client's hair texture. Clients can request a length and size within the salon's range. Pricing moves with the size and length chosen, and a stylist may suggest a different size, though the client makes the final call. Hair is included with each installation or can be bought in the salon or online. Starter locs and loc extensions go through a budding period of a few weeks, when frizz eases and the hair begins to lock onto the added hair. The salon also sells handmade loc bundles, has a store with loc products made from natural ingredients, and offers classes on creating and installing custom loc extensions.

Booking is handled online. Appointments are recommended and walk-ins are not guaranteed, though clients can join a waitlist for same-day notifications. Requests go to the chosen stylist and may be accepted or declined depending on availability. A deposit confirms the appointment, is non-refundable and goes toward the service, and the balance is due on the day. Cancellations made at least 24 hours ahead are free. Later cancellations are charged half the scheduled cost, and a no-call, no-show is charged the full price. Card payments include Maryland sales tax, and cash is accepted.

The salon also offers Zen wellness sessions. These include a one-hour session that combines stretching, breathwork, meditation, sound therapy, energy balancing and reflexology, a customized 75-minute full-body session with therapeutic bodywork, and a 30-minute seated session focused on the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. Clients stay fully clothed or expose limbs as needed. Virtual consultations by Zoom, FaceTime or Google are available for clients interested in products or services listed on the website.

Each installation is tailored to the client's hair texture, which also guides the method chosen. The stylist's size suggestion is advisory, and the client has the final say.
