Every new client starts with a consultation. Established clients new to the studio book a transfer consultation, which includes an examination of their locs' condition. The microlocs consultation is a full session in which questions are answered, measurements are taken and a price quote is given based on hair density and length. Clients can also wear test locs to see how they size and hold.

Deposits secure an appointment spot and are nonrefundable. If a client cancels within the 24-hour period, the deposit goes toward the next appointment; if the business cancels, the deposit is refunded. Bookings close two hours before a session starts.

Consultations come first: new clients book one before any service, and the consultation fee or deposit carries toward the establishment or retie.
