Locks with Olivia is a hair studio at Suite 124 on South Union Park Avenue in Midvale, where stylist Olivia Larsen works with clients on cuts, color, extensions and treatments.
Haircuts run from a short clipper cut to a precision cut with layering and face-framing, with optional bangs. A separate curly cut is built for waves, curls and coils. Color services include glosses, root retouches for new growth, all-over solid color, and partial or full highlights and balayage for a blonde look, with techniques chosen to suit the client.
Extensions can be installed, and a consultation is available beforehand to talk through custom color, blonding or extension options. The $20 consultation fee is applied to the service that is booked. Weft extensions are installed for clients who already have their extensions or bought them through the stylist at a consultation, and the install is repeated every six to eight weeks for a move-up. Keratin smoothing and a scalp exfoliation treatment are also offered, along with nose and eyebrow waxing.
The studio is open Monday and Tuesday from 11 am to 7 pm, Thursday through Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and closed on Wednesday and Sunday.
The studio aims for customized cuts and lived-in color that suit any hair texture.
