The salon is a private, relaxed space where each client is seen one on one, and the business describes itself as an elevated salon experience.

Appointments are booked through the website form, and the appointment time is set during a phone consultation. Appointments are held with a credit card on file, and a confirmation text goes out 48 hours before each visit. Cancellations or rescheduling need 24 hours' notice; cancelling later than that is charged at 50% of the appointment, and a no-show is charged the full scheduled services. Gift certificates are available.

Besides cuts, color and styling, the salon offers smoothing treatments, including Coppola Keratin options, and three human hair extension methods: keratin bonds, tape-ins and hand-tied wefts. Extensions of the bond, tape-in and weft kinds require a consultation before booking.

The salon also sells luxury human hair wigs and toppers. Each piece is fitted and measured to the client, in-stock pieces can be tried on, and wig and topper consultations take place in person. A consultation deposit of $150 applies to these.

Nicole Marie is known for color work, particularly balayage and lived-in color, and has a particular fondness for blonde hair. Visits are personalized, and recommendations are based on what each client wants and needs.
