Locd In By Ty

Locd In By Ty describes itself as a neighborhood loctician. The business offers loc care and braid styles, and says it aims for memorable styles at accessible prices. Clients visit the shop on Ralph David Abernathy in Atlanta, and the address is sent after booking.

Appointments are booked through the website's booking link or the Square booking page. Clients are asked to read the booking information and pick the correct service on the booking tab before reserving. Shop hours run Monday through Saturday, 9am to 6pm, and the shop is closed on Sundays. Questions can be sent by text to 4049560783, with replies coming within up to 2 hours.

Every appointment requires a non-refundable deposit that goes toward the total service price. Most deposits are $25. Deposits for loc extensions, starter locs, and instant loc appointments are not a flat $25 and vary by service. Same-day appointments require a $50 deposit, which must be sent within 15 minutes or the appointment is cancelled. Other deposits are due when booking.

Timing and cancellation rules are firm. Clients who arrive 15 minutes late without contacting the salon may have their appointment cancelled or rescheduled, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late have their appointment cancelled. Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours ahead, and same-day cancellations forfeit the deposit. Only clients being serviced may attend, and anyone who needs to bring a child must contact the business beforehand. Accepted payment methods are cash for walk-in deposits and final payments, Zelle, and Apple Pay.
