About

Prices are set by loc length, from ear length up to longer than the tail bone, so clients can see what a visit will cost before booking. Clients are asked to pick the correct length when they book. Locs longer than the tail bone are quoted after a consultation, and loc repair is priced after an in-person consultation as well.

New clients pay a $25 deposit to book, sent through Cash App. Clients get a 10-minute grace period; after that a $25 late fee applies, and that fee does not count toward the service. Appointments not kept after 30 minutes must be rescheduled, and a no-call no-show needs full payment before the next booking. Same-day appointments, when offered, carry a $45 upcharge, and holiday appointments, when offered, carry a $25 to $50 upcharge. Last-minute changes are not accepted because they overlap other clients' appointments.

The business also teaches loc care. Level 1 covers identifying hair textures and loc conditions, basic washing, conditioning and retwisting, product use, drying and a basic style. Level 2 covers loc detox, crochet, repairs, product use and wicks. Level 1 is priced at $200 and Level 2 at $300.

Alongside services, the business sells its own products: a locking wax, an organic grow oil, a bundle of the two, and a satin loc cap for protecting locs from lint, dust and breakage.

Services are organized around loc length, and clients are asked to choose the correct length when booking.
