Visits are by appointment only, booked online, and walk-ins are not taken. Hours are Wednesday to Friday from 9am to 6pm and Saturday from 9am to 2pm on alternating weeks, with the studio closed Sunday through Tuesday. Extra guests are not allowed in the salon during a service unless they are getting loc work, though one adult may bring children under 18. If the client or the stylist is sick, the appointment is rescheduled.

A consultation is required before starter locs, before loc maintenance for new clients, and before maintenance that runs past 8 weeks. The consultation fee comes off the final service amount. Locs are best retwisted every 3 to 8 weeks. Color is recommended before starting locs, but it is generally held off until about six months to a year into the loc journey.
