Larger loc services begin with a consultation. Consultations can be held in person or on Zoom for out-of-town clients or busy schedules, and cover starter locs, loc comb outs, instant locs and loc reattachments. For reattachments, previously removed locs need to be brought to the consultation.

Clients are asked to arrive with their hair washed, blow dried and detangled, and a short extra blow dry is done at the appointment. Loc appointments include a wash, and a wash can be added to other services for an additional $30. Extended loc braids and twists carry a $20 color upcharge.

Booking involves deposits from $20 to $100, which are generally nonrefundable unless the business causes the inconvenience. Changes should be requested at least 24 hours ahead, and cancelling forfeits the deposit with a new one needed to rebook. Clients have a 10-minute grace period before a $15 late fee applies, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 75% of the service amount.

Squeeze-in appointments are arranged by joining a waitlist with preferred dates and times and then texting the business, and they depend on availability.

Larger loc services are consultation-first, and booking rules on hair size and preparation are set out in advance so each appointment matches the work.
