Loc'd Hair Studio Knoxville is a loc-focused studio in East Knoxville. Its policies also use the name Loc'd Hair Studio & Braid Bar. Most of the menu centers on locs, from starter locs and retwists to repairs, full reconstruction and loc takedowns, with braids, twists, crochet and styling also offered.

About

Booking follows a consultation-first approach. New clients who want starter locs, microlocs, loc extensions or loc repairs begin with a free 15-minute phone consultation. Visits can take anywhere from 30 minutes for a style-only appointment to several hours for reconstruction or quickweave work, and the studio also offers house calls.

The studio is open Thursday from 10 AM to 9:30 PM, Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 9 AM to 1 PM, and is closed Monday through Wednesday and on Sunday. Appointments need to be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours ahead. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and go toward the booked service. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to rebook, and no-call, no-show appointments are charged the full service total before another booking.

The studio works through a consultation first, with loc care planned around each client's hair and scalp and education on maintenance between visits.
