Liz Snyder Nails is run from Loft 18 at 36 Market Street in Concord. The studio focuses on gel nail work, with structured gel overlays and fills, Gel-X full sets and fills, and a range of manicures and pedicures.
Gel extensions come in two forms. Structured gel overlays start at $70 and use either a soft or a hard builder gel, chosen according to nail length and how a client lives. Length extensions are charged separately. Structured gel fills cost $60. Gel-X full sets are soft-gel, full-coverage extensions that can be done in any shape, priced by length from $60 for X-Short up to $85 for XX-Long. X-Long is not offered in a round shape, and XX-Long is only available in stiletto, coffin and square shapes. Gel-X fills, at $60, are for existing Gel-X and cannot be done when the full-coverage tip has extensive lifting or damage.
Manicures include a basic option at $25, which covers shaping, buffing and a hand massage on natural nails but no polish, and a gel manicure at $40 with one-color gel polish over natural nails. Pedicures are a spa pedicure from $60, with a foot soak, cuticle work, callus smoothing, a relaxing massage and one-color gel polish, and a deluxe version from $80 that adds a choice of Pedi-in-a-box scent, sugar scrub, mud mask, hot towels and a longer massage.
Nail art is sorted into three tiers. Simple work such as chrome, cat-eye, french and polka dots starts at $5. Tortoise shell, marble, aura, ombre, animal print and french chrome start at $10. Custom and themed designs, including 3D art, detailed seasonal designs, layered chrome and encapsulation, start at $20. Pricing for each tier depends on how many nails are decorated, up to all ten.
Repairs for a damaged extension or a missing nail are priced per finger from $5 and are limited to four fingers; more than that calls for a removal and a full set. Removal of existing product starts at $10, with an added fee when the work was done by another salon or person. New clients pay a deposit of $20 for gel extension and Gel-X services and $10 for gel and basic manicures. The deposit is forfeited for no-shows, or for cancellations or reschedules within 24 hours of the appointment. Work done by another technician is not filled in; it has to be removed and started from scratch.
The studio is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 AM to 9 PM and Sunday from 12 PM to 9 PM, and is closed Monday through Wednesday. Appointments outside those hours can be arranged by texting the studio, depending on the technician's schedule, and carry a $50 fee on top of the usual pricing.
