Lived in Color works with clients of all ages, from toddlers to clients in their nineties, and offers men's, women's and kids' cuts alongside color. Families are often booked together, so it suits parents who want to schedule several people at once.

The Dallas salon is in room 23 inside Sola Salons at Hillcrest Village, at 6959 Arapaho Rd, Suite 200. Visitors turn left when entering the building, and the room is at the end of the hall. The Oklahoma City salon is at 13904 Quailbrook Dr. Dallas is open Monday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed Sunday. Oklahoma City is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm and closed on weekends.

Color services cover full highlights, balayage, partial color, gloss, tint between highlights, face framing highlights, global color and root retouching. A root retouch suits roots about 1.5 inches or less; roots with around 2 inches or more of new growth need a global color instead. Olaplex can be added to color services for strength and longevity.

Extension work is available, including weft bead slides for existing extension clients, K-tip and weft removal, and extension consultations. An extension consultation is required before booking extension services and covers length, fullness, color matching, pricing, maintenance and method. Removal services do not include reinstalling or styling.

Booking requires a card on file, which is only charged if a cancellation fee applies. Appointments can be rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours ahead. Cancelling less than 36 hours before costs half the total service price, and a same-day cancellation or no-show costs the full price. Arriving more than 15 minutes late adds a $50 fee if there is time to complete services; otherwise the full cost is owed. The salon reserves the right to refuse services.
