Lived-in Color

Lived-in Color operates from two locations: a newer studio in Oklahoma City and a Dallas location in the Prestonwood area. The business is run under the Lived-in Color name by its founder, Emilea Wright, who works at both salons.

The color work centers on lived-in blonding and dimensional brunettes, offered at both locations. Balayage and highlights are used for lived-in blonding, face-framing brightness and dimensional refreshes, and color retouch addresses root regrowth when it is about 1.5 inches or less. For vivid or corrective color, major lightening, or when a client is unsure what to choose, the salon recommends a consultation first. The salon describes its color as modern and its styling as signature.

Cuts for men and women are highly customized, and the Oklahoma City location also offers tailored men's cuts. The Dallas location adds high-impact blonding, seamless balayage and fully customized extensions. Clients book appointments online through the website.

Color is planned to grow out well, so hair still looks polished weeks after a visit. A consultation is recommended before vivid, corrective or major lightening work.
