Visits are built around young clients. Children sit in car-shaped chairs during haircuts and can watch movies or play age-appropriate video games on game consoles. Each child leaves with an organic lollipop and a sticker, and there is a private space for children and parents. First haircuts can be marked with a First Haircut Certificate that includes a keepsake for parents and a memento for the child.
The salon is by appointment only and often has a waiting list, so early booking is recommended. Appointments can be made through the online scheduling portal or by texting 951-265-1198. Color services require a phone consultation, arranged by text, before booking. Cancellations or reschedules need at least 2 hours' notice; later changes carry a fee of $15 for each 30 minutes scheduled, charged at the next service. Appointments booked four or more months ahead may be rescheduled depending on stylist availability, and a child who is unwell should be cancelled or rescheduled with the same notice.
Only natural and organic hair care products are used in services, and a curated selection of organic hair products is sold in the studio. Hair donation is also available, with donated hair given to organizations that make wigs for children in need.
