Appointment lengths vary a great deal, from under an hour for a simple kids ponytail to several hours for full-length knotless or freestyle braids.
Locs are a separate part of the business. The consultation is a 15-minute visit, costs $20, and is non-refundable; it is used to check hair thickness and length and to talk through price and size. Locs need retightening every three to four months, and MicroLocs retightening is offered as its own service.
Kids are a major focus. Services range from little girl ponytails for ages 1-6 to boys' braids, kids knotless and boho knotless styles. The business sells two VIP Kid Memberships for children ages 1-11, which cover recurring appointments on a set schedule. Membership appointments belong only to the child they are booked under and cannot be transferred to another child.
Beyond braiding, the business offers crochet styles, lace wig cleaning, and kids nails and pedicures for elementary-age children. It also runs braiding education, with a one-on-one braid class and a group braiding workshop.
Many services require hair to be washed and blown out with no products in it. Hair color choices and consultations are handled before the appointment so the visit can move forward on schedule.
