The studio began as a beauty blog before growing into a business that offers makeup services and products. Founder Mariel Descarfino chooses the all-natural cosmetics, accessories and gift items sold in the shop.
Makeup services cover many occasions, with airbrush or traditional application available. Bridal and wedding party makeup is built as full applications meant to last all day, starting with airbrush foundation. The bride's false lashes are included in the bridal price, and party pricing is available on request by text or email. The studio also hosts beauty-themed birthday parties and girls' nights out, and appointments are available at other times by arrangement. Beyond makeup, the studio offers lessons and workshops. A one-hour makeup lesson includes $40 toward studio product and a face chart to take home. A teen workshop covers daily skincare routines, choosing products and a natural makeup look, with a mini skincare duo and a beauty tip sheet included. Creative/Collab began in 2016 as a free photoshoot series to help small businesses create content. It is now a set of paid services for small businesses, artists and vendors, including a monthly vendor membership, one-on-one brainstorm sessions and a mini collab shoot.
The Blending Bar sells essential oil products along with in-house and custom blends, and can blend most simple skincare and aromatherapy products on the spot. Custom orders can be placed in the studio or by email to Mariel Descarfino. The studio says its oils are pure and/or organic and that its new products use natural and certified organic ingredients, and that the Blending Bar draws on years of study and work with essential oils and aromatherapy.
