Lip Blush Atlanta is run by Kamil Marzette, who has owned a salon for 17 years and has worked as a permanent makeup artist for 13. The studio is set up as its own entity, separate from that salon, and focuses only on lips.

The core service is Lip Blush Tattoo, a cosmetic tattoo that adjusts lip shape, symmetry and color. Each pigment is mixed for the individual client based on natural lip color, undertone and skin tone. For clients with cool or dark lip undertones, Dark Lip Neutralization is done first to neutralize those tones before the target color goes in, and it often takes more sessions for darker lips.

A lip blush appointment runs about 2 to 3 hours and covers a consultation, pre-drawing, pre-numbing and the procedure itself. Clients supply their own numbing cream, and a topical anesthetic is applied as needed. Lip blush is usually a two-step process, with a touch-up booked 8 to 12 weeks after the first session. Touch-ups can be booked between 4 and 24 months after a lip blush appointment, and they must be completed within 10 weeks of the original session to get the reduced price. Later follow-ups booked past 12 weeks after the last session carry an extra $15 for each month beyond that point.

For lip volume without needles, the studio offers Hyaluronic Lip Infusion, which uses a pressurized device called the Hyaluron Pen to push hyaluronic acid gel into the lips. Sessions can be spaced 2 to 3 weeks apart to build volume. The HydraGloss Lip Treatment cleanses and exfoliates the lips, uses microneedling, and finishes with a hydrating lip mask.

The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10AM to 6PM, and closed Sunday and Monday. A 25% deposit is required to book a service. Clients must be at least 18 for lip blush treatments. Filler should be received at least 4 weeks before a lip blush appointment, since lip blush is recommended first. Clients with a history of cold sores need a physician's prescription for antiviral medication before their appointment. Appointments are cancelled if lips are chapped or dehydrated on arrival, and the deposit is forfeited in that case. The studio also runs a one-day workshop in Lip Blush Tattoo and Dark Lip Neutralization, with a two-day option that includes a model day.

Lip blush is treated as a planned, two-step process with follow-up sessions, and filler is scheduled around it.
