The salon is at Loft B, on the north side of 41st Street just east of Memorial. Arriving by car, it is the first building on the right, and clients enter through the front door. The salon describes itself as an elevated salon experience.

Lindsey Froman founded the salon as owner after years at other salons, where she spent seven years learning from the owners before opening her own. She found the space and signed for it within days of first seeing it. Ten other artists now work alongside her.

Services take place in a private suite. Clients can have a fridge stocked with drinks, including beer and wine, and snacks, and each client gets a playlist curated for them. The salon does not take prebooked appointments. Clients text when they need one, and appointments are typically open one to two weeks out. First-time color clients can book the full highlight or lowlight time, which is adjusted after a short consultation, and color clients may be contacted by text or email for a mini consultation to fine-tune the appointment.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of an appointment are charged $25 for each hour of booked time that is lost. A no-show is charged 50% of the appointment cost, with a $25 minimum.

Works independently rather than for a single product company, recommending products matched to each client's hair type and routine. Coaches clients on product use, maintenance, styling and the curly girl method, with the aim of low-maintenance hair that needs less morning preparation and fewer salon visits.

Services are given in a private suite rather than on an open floor.
