Lily Pad Spa is a waxing studio in South Charlotte, located inside Sola Salons at Rea Road. Free parking is available right outside the building. The studio is open Tuesday through Saturday, with hours that vary by day, and is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Lily owns the studio, works as its waxing specialist, and is its only esthetician, so every appointment is with her. She has been waxing clients in Charlotte since 2014 and has more than ten years of professional experience. Her waxing training began in Romania before she moved to Charlotte, and she trained further in European waxing technique. The studio describes itself as trusted by Charlotte clients for more than ten years.

The menu covers brows, lip, chin and full-face waxing for women, along with bikini, Brazilian and Manzilian work, and body, face and intimate waxing for men. Manzilian and Brazilian waxing are the studio's specialties. Services are offered for all genders, and the studio calls itself LGBTQIA+ friendly and inclusive. Packages bundle several areas into a single visit, from the Face Frame to The Full Detail.

Each appointment starts with Lily walking the client through every step before any wax goes on. The client decides how much to remove, from full removal to a partial clean-up or selected areas. Only soft strip wax is used, never hard wax. Each client has a fully private room, with one client in the studio at a time and no shared waiting area. Each service ends with a calming treatment and aftercare instructions.

Before a visit, hair should be about a quarter inch long, roughly two to three weeks after the last shave. Lotions, oils and caffeine are best avoided beforehand, and clients should arrive with clean, dry skin. Men should mention Retin-A, Accutane or other skin treatments when booking. Appointments can be booked online, and cancellations or changes need 24 hours' notice. Results typically last three to four weeks, and the studio recommends waxing every four to six weeks.

Private, one-client-at-a-time appointments where each step is explained first, the client chooses the coverage, and only soft strip wax is used.

Each client has a fully private room with no shared waiting area.
