About

The practice is run by Dr. Maryna Smolnikava, who has more than ten years of experience and came to medicine after seven years in the corporate world. The site describes the practice as offering a full range of acupuncture modalities.

Each medical acupuncture session lasts 45 minutes. Sessions address muscle and skeletal pain, stress-related conditions, fertility, menopause, migraines and digestive problems. Thin sterile needles are placed at points along the body's meridians, with the points selected after symptoms and assessment are considered. Clients also receive advice on lifestyle, diet and exercise aimed at easing pain and supporting general health.

Integrative bodywork combines acupuncture with therapeutic massage in a visit of 1 hour 20 minutes. Cosmetic acupuncture and microneedling sessions run about an hour, and facial rejuvenation is also offered. Cupping, myofascial massage, infrared heat and low-level laser therapy can be added to acupuncture treatments, and cupping with myofascial muscle release is available as a 30-minute add-on.

New patients add a comprehensive initial consultation to their first visit. The consultation lasts 30 minutes, costs $60, and is for first-time patients only. The new patient drop-in rate includes a comprehensive exam.

Takes a trauma-informed approach to conditions such as anxiety, depression, insomnia, PTSD and physical pain, and combines Eastern medicine with Western clinical understanding to identify patterns behind pain, stress and chronic conditions.
