Visits are by appointment only. The salon is open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8 am to 8 pm. Most treatments take one to one and a half hours, and very rarely two to two and a half hours for extreme cases. Children can use a designated kids play area, and free guest Wi-Fi, Netflix and snacks are available. A second follow-up visit may be recommended for extremely severe cases.
Head screenings cost $25 and that amount is applied to same-day treatment if one is needed. Slight cases (infestation under a week) run $110 to $130, moderate cases (two to four weeks) $150 to $180, and extreme cases (six to eight weeks) $200 to $250. Extremely severe cases over two months that need more than three hours are quoted in person. A $50 holiday fee is added to treatment services.
Payment is due at the time of service and the salon accepts cash, major credit cards, Venmo and Zelle. Some insurance companies reimburse services, and Flex Pay or Flex Spending cards may work, but clients should check with their insurer before visiting.
Treatment uses The Shepherd Method, a non-toxic strand-by-strand technique in which every hair is examined and then checked again.
Suited to families, with a play area set aside for children. Visitors can connect to the complimentary Wi-Fi, stream Netflix and help themselves to snacks.
