Extensions and special-order services may need a separate deposit or advance payment, and special-order charges may be nonrefundable once the order is placed. The salon will not charge a cancellation fee when it cancels an appointment itself.

Clients who arrive late may have their appointment shortened or moved, and may be charged a late cancellation fee. Payment is due when the service is completed and can be made by cash, credit or debit card, or electronic payment. Gift cards can be used toward eligible services or products but are not redeemable for cash, except where the law requires it. Gratuities are voluntary and not included in service prices. Concerns about a completed service should be raised within 7 days of the appointment. Completed services are generally nonrefundable, except where the law requires otherwise. Unopened, unused retail products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days with proof of purchase. Clients under 18 may need a parent or guardian's permission for certain services.
