The podiatry side treats conditions of the feet, ankles and lower legs, including ingrown toenails, fungal toenails, heel pain, bunions, hammertoes, plantar warts, calluses and sports injuries. Diabetic foot care and wound care are offered, with a focus on preventing and treating wounds in patients with diabetes. Surgical options include bunion and hammertoe correction and Achilles tendon repair, and the practice says it uses advanced techniques aimed at correcting foot problems while minimizing scarring. Spider and varicose veins can be treated with sclerotherapy, in which a medicine is injected into the vein.
