About

The business opened in 2007 and says it has 18 years of experience hosting children's parties. The idea came from a child asking about a spa visit, which led the founder to consider holding a birthday party at a spa. The business describes itself as a luxury children's entertainment brand.

The space is decorated in a fairy tale and princess style, and parties can include fashion shows. The business says the spa setting is meant to help girls relax and feel good about themselves, and that staff talk with them about healthy habits such as caring for their hair and skin, drinking water and eating nourishing foods. Some spa services are adapted to each guest's age and framed as make-believe.

Treatments include facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, hair and makeup. Facials use plain water, Cetaphil and cucumbers, and makeup is applied with regular eyeshadow, glitter and lip gloss using disposable applicators. Each girl takes home her own comb. The business states it uses natural products in its services. Parties can also include princess spa treatments and glow-in-the-dark dance parties.

Booking requires a $500 deposit to hold a date. The deposit is refundable within four weeks of booking and becomes nonrefundable three weeks before the event, and it is deducted from the balance, which is paid at the end of the party. Credit card details are required for every reservation, with a $20 automatic no-show fee. Checks are not accepted, and cash or Zelle is recommended to avoid card processing fees. Weekend parties need at least 8 girls, and smaller parties of fewer than 10 girls are also offered. Friday to Sunday is by appointment only. A party can have up to 40 girls, and the venue holds up to 130 people in total. Parties with more than 15 confirmed girls have a 15 percent gratuity added automatically.

Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the party and leave 30 minutes after. Setup and pickup take 30 minutes, and the first party of the day gets one hour. Parking is available by valet, in public spaces on the second floor of the building, and at outside meters. Deliveries use the back entrance from Giralda St, past the valet booth at door #3, and knock about 30 minutes before the party starts because there is no doorbell. Food orders must be emailed within two weeks of the event, and cake orders are requested by emailing a design photo and the number of guests. Outside food and alcohol are allowed, except red wine, and cooking is not permitted on site.

The business says its spa-style parties help girls relax and feel good about themselves, and it includes conversations about healthy habits.
