Visits often start with a consultation, which the salon offers for new looks and for new clients. The approach is easygoing and friendly. Brides can book personalized one-on-one bridal hair and makeup, and bridal hair and makeup trials are relaxed preview sessions held in the studio before the big day. Hair extensions begin with a 30-minute one-on-one consultation, and the salon installs wefts, tape-ins, I-Tips and K-Tips. Clients return about four weeks after installation for a move-up appointment and then continue with recurring move-ups.
Booking policies are set out clearly. A 50% fee applies to no-shows and to cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment. Arriving 15 minutes or more late means not all scheduled services are guaranteed, and after a no-show the full appointment must be paid before rebooking. Text and email reminders go out 72 and 24 hours ahead. Payment is accepted by cash, check, major credit cards, Apple Pay, Apple Cash and Venmo, and Buy Now, Pay Later through GlossGenius is available for bookings from $50 to $4,000. Children's haircuts are charged at adult pricing. The building has its own parking lot and some metered street parking, and the Ballston mall lot is free and about a 5 to 8 minute walk away.
