LC Vickers Salon Ewing

The Ewing salon is at 1870 N. Olden Ave., Suite C. The second location, LC Vickers Salon South, is at 2004 Liberty Pl. in Sicklerville. Clients can book online for either salon. The Ewing location's booking page is shared with a nail business, Ehleven Nails.

I-tip extensions attach small strands near the roots with a bead, which a stylist crimps to hold them in place, with no tape, fusion or glue. Removal means uncrimping the beads and sliding the strands out. Because natural hair grows, the extensions need to be moved up every few weeks. The salon states they last three to six months. Each bundle holds 50 pieces, and three bundles are suggested for a full head, or 100 to 180 strands for a full but natural look.

A deposit is required to book and is deducted from the total cost of the services. Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours ahead. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is forfeited if a client misses an appointment without telling staff within 48 hours. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have the appointment cancelled without a refund. Reminders go out two days before the appointment, and clients receive an email or text after booking. Every service has an allotted time, and appointments cannot run past it. All services include shampooing. Clients should arrive with previous styling removed and hair detangled, since extremely tangled hair is charged for detangling time. Clients with oily hair should shampoo before arriving, as oil may affect silk press results.

The online store sells custom and ready-made lace units, hair bundles and hair products, including Wig Grip at a regular price of $20.00. Orders are processed in 1 to 3 business days and shipped by insured USPS with a tracking number, usually taking 2 to 5 business days. Lace wigs and bundles require a signature on delivery. All sales are final. Exchanges are only offered for defective or damaged items that are unused, unworn and in original packaging, and the salon covers return shipping on those products. Exchanges can be made in store or by mailing the item to the Ewing location.
