LBL Lash Collective

The academy was established in 2015 and is based in Indianapolis. It describes itself as state-accredited and says it has trained more than 1,000 students and is trusted by more than 500 lash artists.

The academy's flagship course is the IDOH 45 Hour Training, which leads to an Eyelash Extension Specialist license approved by the Indiana Department of Health. Students can finish it at their own pace or over three weekends. It is open to licensed professionals, unlicensed individuals and beauty school students, at $3,500 with a $500 deposit.

For people with little or no lash experience, the two-day Eyelash Extension Fundamentals course runs 14 hours and ends with a Certificate of Completion. It costs $1,000 with a $300 deposit and is open to licensed professionals and beauty school students. Experienced lash artists can take the Volume Fan Building course, which covers three fan building techniques for $900 with a $200 deposit.

Alongside training, the business sells adhesives, lash trays, lash tiles, tape, cleanser, checking mirrors and storage boxes online, with local pickup at its Suite 261 location. Students in the IDOH and Fundamentals courses receive 20% off LBL products and a lash manual. Digital guides for lash artists are also available.

The site accepts inquiries from models aged 18 to 35 for complimentary lash sets, and its booking page lists Signature Full Sets in Classic, Volume and Hybrid styles, Advanced Styling Specialty Full Sets, refills and touch ups, with specials for new clients.

Courses come in self-paced and weekend formats, so students can choose the schedule that suits them.
